house rules

 

Number of guests: Only the maximum numbers of guests, specified per room or tent on the booking page, are permitted to stay ‘over night’. 

Rates: Rates are quoted in New Zealand dollars and are inclusive of 15% GST. 

Check-out: Check-out time is 10:00am, unless a late check-out time has been agreed with management in advance. This allows us to properly prepare the property for next guests. 

Departure: The property and facilities should be left in a similar state to its condition on arrival. If the property is left in an unacceptable state, we will have to charge for extra cleaning at $50 an hour. 

Damage, Breakages, Theft and Loss: These are the guests responsibility and will be charged accordingly. 

Disturbance: Any disturbances to other guests or neighbours, including excessive noise, is prohibited and may result in termination of your stay. 

Non-sanctioned events. It is strictly prohibited to use the property for a party / event / function, without an event booking contract. Should the property be used for any event other than that for which it is booked, the guests involved will be charged extra fees to cover additional wear and tear on the property, cleaning, garbage removal, garden repair, etc. 

Exclusivity: The property and facilities are available for guests use only 

Reservations: In order to book online, you will be asked to submit a credit card or debit card detail. This card may be charged prior to your stay, as unfortunately this is the way the booking engine operates. If this doesn’t suit you, please email me direct (info@meadowoodhouse.co.nz) or telephone (021 0441331) to secure your accommodation by an alternative manner. We try to be as accommodating as possible with cancellations, as we understand plans can change, however should you wish to make changes to your booking within the Late Cancellation period, we reserve the right to apply the Late Cancellation policy penalties.

Late Cancellations: Meadowood is an exclusive property, so late cancellations have a significant impact. In the event that we are unable to replace a cancelled booking, the following applies: 

Deposits are non-refundable, except by prior arrangement between parties. 

Cancellation up to 7 days of arrival date– 50% of the Accommodation Cost will be charged. 

Cancellation within 7 days before arrive date - 100% of the Accommodation Cost will be charged.

Cancellation on the arrival day or a no show – 100% of the Accommodation Cost will be charged. 

Privacy statement: We are committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Under no circumstances will the details of guests be shared amongst individuals nor be distributed to third party organisations without consent. 

Smoking: is not permitted inside the house, the tents or the entertainment room. 

Data Security policy Our online booking uses Travel Booking Services. These are fully certified as Visa AIS and MasterCard SDP (PCI-DSS) compliant at processor level; using an approved QSA for quarterly scans on systems and full onsite audits, annually. All sensitive information is encrypted with the 3DES protocol, with Atalla Network Security Processors. 

Payments taken on-site are taken via BNZ PayClip. 

Should you make a payment via a travel partner, your financial contract is with that organisation.
